Farmers loan waives declared by UP Govt. on April 4th 2017 was a celebration event of UP. But today there is no update available regarding this populist announcement so far. Farmers are rushing towards Banks( Only nationalised) to know the status of there loans but banks have no answer. Farmers are feeling cheated now. Actually farmers have no unity that's why the issues of farmers remain undiscussed and hidden.
UP Govt. set up an enquiry to enlist the farmers who have taken loans from more than one bank. Mostly farmers are approaching Zila co-operative banks for various loans because these banks have lowest hurdles to sanction loans for farmers. UP Govt. has declared to waive the loans of farmers which given by nationalised banks only that's why numbers of beneficiaries become very less.
This practice in politics and governance give wrong message to public. Govt. should take proper action to waive farmers loans no any type of pretexts.
